Head Coach for Girls’ Rowing

Choate Rosemary Hall is seeking qualified candidates to fill the position of varsity head coach for girls’ rowing. Coaching candidates may apply as coach-only or in combination with any open full-time positions listed on our employment page.

Choate aspires to maintain a highly competitive girls’ rowing team against traditional opponents in the context of an education-based athletics program. Candidates must be able to demonstrate the ways in which inclusive and equitable practices inform their approach to coaching and team building. In addition to coaching responsibilities and team management, the head coach of girls’ rowing assumes general oversight of sub-varsity teams and coordination of the girls’ rowing coaching staff and is responsible for recruiting suitable student-athletes and assisting in the college placement process.

Full-time Candidates: Our faculty is deeply committed to the entire student experience. Candidates applying for the position as a part of a teaching and/or administrative appointment to the faculty should be prepared to also take on other responsibilities such as student advising, residential life, and other extracurricular activities.
